Ed Sheeran enlists Lil Baby for the new song “2step”.
Ed Sheeran teams up with Lil Baby for the official music video for his song called “2step”, which is taken off from his latest album “=”. The music video was shot in Kyiv, Ukraine, before the war against Russia.
“Sun comin’ up when we walk out, we lost the track of time / Everything that I been dealin’ with ain’t even crossed my mind / I don’t see nobody in here but us, for real, for you I’m blind / We go anywhere, it don’t take much for us to catch a vibe,” raps Baby.
“I filmed the video for 2step in the city of Kyiv, Ukraine before the devastating acts of violence started to take place,” reads a statement. “It was my first time visiting the country and I felt so welcomed during my stay there – everyone from the production crew to the many people I met across my days off. Ukraine is a proud and resilient country and I’m grateful to have had the chance to film my video there. I stand with Ukraine and will be donating my record royalties from YouTube streams of the video to the DEC’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.”
“Although it was my first time there, I quickly loved the people and the place. There was no sign of the horror that would come to Ukraine and my heart goes out to everyone there”, said Ed Sheeran, who previously mentioned collaborating with the rapper in an Instagram post.
