Diddy drops three new “Gotta Move On” remixes.
Diddy is back with some new music as the Bad Boy mogul releases three new versions of his single “Gotta Move On” which featured assistance from Bryson Tiller. The first remix of the track features Ashanti and Young Miami, and it arrives with a music video.
“You be playin’ all these games and I ain’t got time / You be out here like these ni**as (Come on) ain’t crazy ’bout mine / Like I can make a call and have ’em pull up on site / You thought that you could have it on the weekends,” raps Ashanti.
Diddy stated on “The Breakfast Club” why he sought Ashanti on the remixes “I think that music and art gives you a chance to speak your mind when it comes to the love territory,” he said. “After I seen Irv do his thing, I was just thinking, ‘Sis, maybe wanna, you know, just express herself on this song.’”
The second remix is in collaboration with the producer duo of Cool & Dre, where they interpolate Michael McDonald’s ’80s hit “I Keep Forgettin’”. The third and final is the Kings remix features assistance from Fabolous and Tory Lanez.
