Daylyt unleashes more shots at Joey Badass.
Daylyt continues putting out new diss records as he drops his second and third one targeting Joey Badass. The new songs are titled “ICANTHOLDYOUTHISA” and “AYO” a follow-up to his previous “WRD2MIMVA”. It is a response to Badass’ “My Town” with Loaded Lux.
“That freak you mentioned, you was in daddy studio taking beat submissions / Wanna play? / Piggyback, trust, you ain’t really that tough / Pokémon lover, your favorite one was Jigglypuff,” he raps.
“Body Lux in Times Square, go get a Doctor Manhattan (Oh my!) / Top, I covered all of my tracks to get the play, right? (Hm) / Scientific fact, it take 10,000 lux to equal daylight (Woah).”
“Violate you every way possible, sh-t, we Fly-baited / Die with your eyes wide open, ni–a you dilated / Two fingers over the eyes, closed, then God show / Body in the street, no name, what happened to John Doe?.”
“It’s time to spank you gangsters / 50 said it best, oh you know about the grape street gangsters G’d up / My brother shot two opps in front of my mom, as they spin back / As I watched them leave us.”
Along with the diss track, he also dropped “WORDISBON”, which is a tribute to Pro Era emcee and Joey’s best friend Capital Steez, who committed suicide in December 2012.
