CyHi enlists Pusha T for a new collab “Mr. Put That Sh*t On”.
CyHi is back to the music scene as he teams up with Pusha T for a brand new song titled “Mr. Put That Sh*t On”.
This is reportedly the latest offering off his long-awaited new album “The Story of Mr. EGOT”, which he had been teasing since last year. It will be a follow-up to his 2017 debut effort “No Dope On Sundays“. Last year, CyHi also dropped a short project titled “EGOT the EP” through his EGOT Records.
“Lanvin made the jeans, shorty, these ain’t McQueen / You was in the streets, what? But this ain’t Supreme / ‘Cause the way they paint the scene, shorty, this ain’t Moschin’ / Haters hate to see me clean in the suede Celine,” raps CyHi.
Previously, he also announced that Kanye West produced 6 songs on the album, and will have 2 features on it. He also confirmed other features from Russ, 2 Chainz, Jack Harlow, Pink Sweats and more.
Just recently, he shared the concept on the project. “Introducing “The Story of Mr. EGOT,” a narrative that unfolds the fascinating journey of Philip Michael Thomas, an accomplished American actor and musician who coined the term “EGOT.” Despite his remarkable talents, he has not received nominations for any of these prestigious awards. Mr. Thomas’s impressive career includes starring roles in the iconic 1980s TV series “Miami Vice,” a captivating performance in the 1976 film “Sparkle,” and memorable voiceover in the video game series “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories” in 2002 and 2006, among other achievements. Each chapter in this narrative pays homage to the art of storytelling, offering a unique perspective on the life of Mr. EGOT, all through the imaginative lens of Cydel “CyHi” Young.”
