Yelawolf and Caskey drop a new song “Been A Problem”.
Yelawolf is prepping the release of his new joint album called “YELAWOLF X BLACKSHEEP” with Orlando rapper Caskey (aka BLACKSHEEP) and today the duo released the first single off it. The Alabama and Orlando duo drops the new track called “Been A Problem” along with its official music video.
Yelawolf’s last acknowledged body of work before Yelawolf Blacksheep was 2019’s Ghetto Cowboy, his first official album after leaving Eminem’s Shady Records brand. Caskey, on the other hand, has been a little busier, releasing the Cash Money-backed EP Viral and the indie full-length I Changed last year.
In the song, Caskey also shouts out Eminem in his lyrics.
“And me and Yelawolf made this tape so there ain’t no debatin’, ayy
We the hardest rappers ever came after Shady.”
The album features collaborations with DJ Paul from Three 6 Mafia and Cub da CookUpBoss. The production was handled by a team of producers including Taysty, Locke, The Lex Factor and several others. Taysty played a pivotal role as executive producer and contributed to the majority of the album’s instrumentals. The album was recorded in 2020 at the House of Blues Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.
