Bobby Shmurda drops new song “They Don’t Know”.
Bobby Shmurda is back with some new material as he releases a new single “They Don’t Know”, his first drop since leaving Epic Records label last month. The song is accompanied by a music video which is directed by Ishell Vaughan. This follows up his previous release “Shmoney” with Quavo and Rowdy Rebel.
“My spirit’s always gon’ be up, I used to sleep next to people who had 40 to life,” Bobby told Complex. “People who’ve been in there for 30 years and haven’t laughed—I’d have them crying all day. When you got good energy, no matter where you at, you can bring a smile to someone’s face.”
Ishell Vaughan created a video to go along with the song. The video matches the song’s themes with pictures of Shmurda flaunting high-end possessions and doing his signature dance skills — there are even a handful of popular TikTok stars in the mix.
Bobby has stayed relatively involved in other areas in addition to his musical endeavours. He previously provided 2,000 bags filled with school supplies to New York kids, as well as free haircuts and dinners on Father’s Day.
