Beyonce drops a new song “Be Alive”.
Beyonce hasn’t been active in the music scene for a while, but today it changes as a new song called “Be Alive” is released. The track is off the soundtrack of the “King Richard” movie and was first teased last month with the official trailer.
The film stars Will Smith and is the biopic on the life of tennis superstar sisters Serena and Venis Williams from the perspective of their father Richard, which is played by Will. The Reinaldo Marcus Green directed movie will release in the US on November 19.
Speaking to ew, Will Smith revealed that Beyonce‘s collab came after the screening of the film. “The marriage of a movie and a song is a kind of magic that’s unmatched in entertainment,” said Smith. “I was so happy when Beyoncé called.”

“It feels so good to be alive
Couldn’t wipe this black off if I tried
That’s why I lift my head with pride,” Beyonce sings.
Beyoncé released the one-off song “Black Parade” last year, as well as the visual album Black Is King, which served as a complement to her 2019 soundtrack for The Lion King: The Gift, a live-action lion king remix.
