Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar connect on the “America Has A Problem” remix.
While Beyonce is travelling across Europe for her “Renaissance” tour, she unleashed some new offerings for the fans as Queen Bey reunited with Kendrick Lamar on the remix of her “America Has A Problem” track. The two previously worked together on Lemonade’s “Freedom”, and The Lion King: The Gift’s “Nile”.
The original version of the new remix appeared on Bey’s comeback seventh studio album “Renaissance“, which was her first solo studio effort in 6 years, and a follow-up to 2016’s “Lemonade“. The song is produced by MIKE DEAN, Beyonce & The-Dream.
“Truthfully I be lyin’ in my rap song / ‘Causе I always fail to mention I’ll snap homie / His career didn’t come with no lifе insurance / Hope his day one fans got some facts on him / I’m an honorary Beyhive,” raps Lamar.
“How particular to be about your music,” Kendrick told Rolling Stone in 2017 about Beyonce. “She’s a perfectionist. Think about the BET performance. She was very particular – the lighting, the camera blocking, the transition from the music to the dancing. It was confirmation of something I already knew.”
Bey’s seventh album “Renaissance” was released in July 2022, through Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, Beyoncé’s seventh consecutive album to do so, and is certified platinum. The project received nominations in nine categories for 6th annual grammy awards, with winning four awards.
