Benny the Butcher and J. Cole shares new collab “Johnny P’s Caddy”.
Benny the Butcher returns to the music as the Griselda rapper unleashes a huge surprise collaboration with J. Cole. The song is titled “Johnny P’s Caddy” and it comes along with an accompanying music video. The song is produced by The Alchemist, and it will appear on Benny’s upcoming project “Tana Talk 4”.
Tana Talk 4 is the fourth edition of a renowned series that began in 2004 during the B.E.N.N.Y. days of the Buffalo emcee. It will follow Pyrex Picasso, a Rare Scrilla and Chop-La-Rock-backed effort released last August and reported to have been recorded in a single day two years earlier. Conway The Machine, Elcamino, and Rick Hyde all contributed to the brief release. Benny again teamed up with Harry Fraud in 2021 for The Plugs I Met 2, the sequel to the 2019 hit The Plugs I Met, which featured collaborations with Chinx, 2 Chainz, and others.
“On the night I was born, the rain was pourin’, God was cryin’ / Lightnin’ struck, power outage, sparks was flyin’ / The real one’s here, the young boy that walk with lions / Around the outlines of chalk where the corpses lyin’,” raps Cole.
