Lil Baby assists Badshah & J Balvin on “Voodoo” remix.
In April, Indian singer/rapper Badshah linked up with Colombian hitmaker J Balvin for a new collaboration “Voodoo”, which arrived along with an official video. “J Balvin is like an idol to me,” Badshah said in a press release. “He’s been doing what I have been trying to do in my own space, and the way he’s made a way for himself despite the language, despite the odds, really inspired me.”
“One of the many reasons I was drawn to creating music is because it’s universal,” J Balvin said in a statement. “It connects people despite language barriers. Badshah and Tainy are tremendous artists, and this collaboration is just another example of how we’re able to unite people of different cultures to find common ground and vibe together.”
The two are now back with an official remix, which features assistance from Lil Baby, on the production of Tainy. The Atlanta rapper is prepping the release of his next studio album, which is set to drop next month.
