ASAP Rocky shares new track with Playboi Carti on Instagram.
For a surprise, ASAP Rocky hits Instagram with a never heard before song titled “OUR DE$TINY”, which features assistance from Playboi Carti. The song samples Destiny’s Child, with production from EVILGIANE. The two collaborated multiple times, and it marks their first song together since the 2018 track “Buck Shots.”
Along with the song, a music video was also shared which features concert footage, and the duo partying with singer Beck in Dublin, Ireland.
“Move your lips, who you know do it like this? / Uncle Luke, 2-Live Clique, my hood sound like Jula 6 / All about that mula, bi**h, that mula, bi**h / Still with the sh*ts and it’s on sight with them when we see ’em,” raps Rocky.
Carti last released a full-length album in 2020 with the justly lauded Whole Lotta Red, while Rocky has had Testing, his third studio album, for just over four years. In April, Carti alluded to the idea of one time delivering a combined full-length with Lil Uzi Vert and hinted that a new album with the working title “Music” would be in the works. Meantime, as of May of this year, Rocky was reportedly finishing up his new record.
