ASAP Rocky shares his new song “Same Problems?”.
ASAP Rocky returns to the music scene as he releases his brand new single titled “Same Problems?” which was rumoured to drop last week but delayed for unknown reasons. This follows up his previous offering “Sh*ttin Me” which was a part of Need For Speed Unbound Soundtrack. The track is reportedly the first offering off Rocky’s fourth studio album, a follow-up to 2018’s “Testing”.
“Momma sayin’ I’m a satellite (Ooh, sh*t don’t) / Jumpin’ off the Porsche, I ain’t ‘fraid of heights / I won’t drop the bag even when I’m breakin’ nice / Breakin’ bad I was breakin’ night, Kid Cudi, “Day ‘N Nite”,” he raps.
As for his upcoming album, which may or may not be titled “Don’t Be Dumb,” the artist stated that it is completed. This will be his first full-length album release since “Testing” in 2018. “The new stuff is me being vulnerable, and it’s just no filter, and just where I’m at at my stage,” Rocky told Lowe. “My age and how I see things, my peers, the younger kids, the older cats—it’s just my perspective.”
“I never took time out to really understand that I was part of the problem because I was contributing those kind of lyrics and whatnot to songs. Without preaching too much, I just wanted to touch on something a bit different opposed to just being braggadocios, flamboyant and just regular rap content for me.”
