Ari Lennox drops a new song “Pressure”.
Ari Lennox makes her return to the music scene as she releases her brand new single called “Pressure“. The track is produced by Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, and Johnta Austin, the trio with whom she was seen in the studio earlier this year. The Dreamville artist is also scheduled to drop a music video for the single later today.
It’s the lead track from Lennox’s next studio record age/sex/location, and it borrows samples from Shirley Brown’s 1977 song “Blessed Is the Woman (With a Man Like Mine).” “Pressure” is Lennox’s top solo song, reaching number 66 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.

In terms of other recent collaborations, Ari collaborated with Queen Naija on their joint single and video “Set Him Up,” and she also collaborated with Nasty C on his “Black and White” song. Ari Lennox surprised her fans with a remix EP of her 2019 debut LP Shea Butter Baby last year, enlisting Doja Cat, Smino, and Durand Bernarr to modify three high-quality album songs.
