03 Greedo drops a new song “Substance (We Woke Up)” with Wiz Khalifa.
After giving us ‘Substance Slowed‘ in December, the incarcerated rapper 03 Greedo continues releasing new material with help from his team outside. 03 Greedo enlists Wiz Khalifa for a brand new track called “Substance (We Woke Up)“.
Runaway Richy recently enlisted 03 Greedo’s help on his single “Price Tag.” He collaborated with Ron-RonTheProducer on the first volume of their Load It Up series last summer. The album featured a collaboration with Chief Keef called “Bands In Da Basement,” which received an official music video in September that featured two miniature versions of the two rappers.
The song is accompanied by a trippy, interactive lyrics video that lets fans control the perspective as a CGI Greedo and Wiz drive through a cartoon city and go for a walk with a pack of wolves. It’s a cool presentation for the song that offers fans some consolation for Greedo’s current inability to shoot real music videos for his songs — although he’s found some pretty clever workarounds in the past, as well.
