Usher unleashes new album “Coming Home”.
Usher makes his return to the music scene as he finally puts out his long-awaited new album “Coming Home“. Coming Home is Usher’s ninth studio album and his first in over seven years. The project follows up on his 2016’s eighth studio album “Hard II Love”.
The album is released with a pack of 20 tracks, with guest appearances from Burna Boy on “Coming Home”, Summer Walker & 21 Savage on “Good Good”, Latto on “A-Town Girl”, The Dream on “Cold Blooded”, H.E.R. on “Risk It All”, Jung Kook on “Standing Next To You (Remix)” and more.
“We’ve put a lot of thought and creativity into this new album to tell a story that is open to interpretation and that will connect with people in different ways,” Usher said previously about the album. “I know this has been a long time coming for my fans and what I’ll say is that all good things come to those who wait. I hope you enjoy it once you hear it.”
“I’m coming home, I’m back with my team,” he said in an interview with Zane Lowe. “Even when you see the artwork, you will understand it. When you see the peach. You get it. You understand where I’m from and what we’re doing.”
This week, Usher will also take the stage at the Superbowl Halftime show on February 11th in Paradise, Nevada.
