Tee Grizzley unleashes his brand new album “Post Traumatic.”
Tee Grizzley continues putting out new material as he finally drops his brand new album “Post Traumatic.” This is a follow-up to his last year’s project “Tee’s Coney Island.”
The project comes with a pack of 24 songs, with previously released “Robbery 7”, “Suffer In Silence”, “Detroit” with 42 Dugg, “Swear To God” with Future, and recently released “Blow for Blow” with J. Cole. The additional guest appearances come with Tink on “Ride or Die”, Hunxho with “I Ain’t Sorry”, G Herbo on “Swerv”, Mariah The Scientist on “Situationship” and more.
“That’s who I am. And I want to stand by the people who got that same type of trauma,” he said about album title in interview with Complex. “I want to let them know that they ain’t the only ones. I want to let them know that you can still be successful even though you going through it, you feel me? And what that mean to me is like if you instant sh-t your whole life, right? It is normal to you. You can’t really be traumatized by it. But if you go through some sh-t your whole life and then are taken out of that situation and then got to be put back in that situation, that could traumatize you.”
“It’s crazy,” he said about collab with J. Cole. “When you talk about somebody processing how they work, J. Cole is somebody who the process means everything [to him]. Process mean everything, the energy mean everything. The vibe, if it ain’t right, it’s like “We can’t do it.” So it kind of took us a while because we had to find the right thing that was perfect for us to do. And once we found it, bro, I just knew it was the one, and I know that Cole is super talented, so I couldn’t half-step when it came to how I performed on the song. So I gave it my all.”
