Wu-Tang Clan drops a new EP “Of Mics and Men” feat RZA, Nas & others.
After Ghostface Killah and RZA’s ‘On That Sht Again‘ yesterday, Wu-Tang Clan has released the soundtrack to their new docu-series ‘Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men‘. The project contains 7 tracks with music from Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Nas, RZA, Masta Killa, and more.
The new album is the group’s first public release since 2014’s “A Better Tomorrow” and 2017’s Wu-Tang-produced “The Saga Continues”, which does not include U-God. Martin Shkreli, a convicted “pharma bro,” bought their 2015 one-copy-only Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, which was marketed as a Wu-Tang Clan LP (and challenged by numerous members in the docuseries).
Hulu is presently preparing a 10-episode TV series based on the Wu in addition to their Showtime docuseries. RZA and Method Man will serve as executive producers on Wu-Tang: An American Saga, which will be set in the 1990s and centred on the growth of the game-changing group. Dave East has been cast in the lead role of Shotgun, a character based on Method Man.
