Wale drops his new album “Wow… That’s Crazy” feat Lil Durk, 6LACK & others.
After announcing it last month, Wale has released his brand new 6th studio album ‘Wow… That’s Crazy‘. The album contains 15 tracks with guest appearances from Ari Lennox, Boogie, 6LACK, Bryson Tiller, Jeremih, Lil Durk, Megan Thee Stallion, and more.
Surprisingly, Wale claimed a few weeks later on Twitter that he is “one of the best rappers of all time. “Last album had one platinum and two gold singles,” he tweeted. “I just don’t be talkin my talk all the time cuz I got some things goin on in my head.. but what we not gon do is act like the hits haven’t been comin for ten years. Okurrrr.”
Meek Mill and Rick Ross also appeared on the album but were not mentioned in the tracklist to keep a surprise and it was revealed by Wale in his interview on the Ebro in the Morning.
Wale said “If you like “On Chill,” you’re gonna really love the album because it’s essentially like a loosely based story that follows the “On Chill” narrative. Because “On Chill” is a record about dating but not tripping on whoever you deal with on your time. That’s a chapter and there’s a fight, there’s a breakup, there’s my fault and her fault, there’s all these layers to it. There’s an opening credit on the album, it’s like that.”
Wale’s most recent album, Shine, was another critically acclaimed effort for the Maybach Music star before the group’s commercial interests were transferred to Warner Bros. Wow, now that he’s got a new machine behind him after releasing three EPs, Wow… That’s Crazy takes listeners on a new voyage into Ralph Folarin’s psyche.
