Tyler, the Creator unleashes new album “Chromakopia.”
After announcing it last week, Tyler, The Creator officially released his brand new album “Chromakopia.” This is his seventh studio album, and a follow-up to previous critically acclaimed “IGOR” (2019) and “Call Me If You Get Lost” (2021), both won Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards.
The new album comes with a pack of 14 songs, with previously released “St. Chroma,” “Thought I Was Him” and “Noid.” The guest appearances comes from Teezo Touchdown, Childish Gambino, GloRilla, Sexyy Red, Lil Wayne, ScHoolboy Q, Doechii and more.
The rapper released the album on Monday morning, instead of traditonal Friday release. “YOU CAN LISTEN TO IT WHEN YOU WAKE UP, YOU DONT HAVE TO DEPRIVE YOURSELF OF SLEEP FOR SOMETHING THAT IS GOING TO BE THERE WHEN YOU WAKE UP,” he wrote.

“Now that I’m 33, all that stuff is like ‘oh that’s what the f–k she was talking about,” he said at the LA listening event. “‘Oh I’m not the guy I was at 20. Oh sh-t, people are getting older, folks having kids and families.’ All I’ve got is a new Ferrari, that does feel kind of weird. I’ve got a grey hair on my chest. Life is life. I just wanted to write about stuff I think about when I’m dolo’ing.”’
