After announcing earlier this week, The Atlanta Rapper Future has dropped his new self-titled album a day earlier to it’s scheduled date. The album contains 17 tracks with no guest features. Within the announcement of his album, Future also reveals that he’s set to go on his Nobody Safe Tour.
Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, DJ Khaled, The Beat Bully, Southside, and other 808 Mafia members such as DY, Fuse, Tarentino, and Tre Pounds all contributed to the album’s production. Three singles were released to promote the album: “Draco,” “Mask Off,” and “Extra Luv.”
With 140,000 album-equivalent units sold, Future debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, with 60,000 of those being pure album sales. Following DS2, What a Time to Be Alive with Drake, and Evol, it became Future’s fourth number-one album. The album has sold 902,000 album-equivalent units as of September 27, 2017.
