Conway The Machine drops “From King To A God” Deluxe Version.
Conway The Machine continues releasing new material as he decided to release the deluxe version of his latest album ‘From King To A God‘ which he dropped in September. The new version contains an addition of 5 new tracks, which makes it a 19 song project. It features assistance from 7xvethegenius and Jay Skeese.
Conway smoothly tackles beats from Daringer, Roc Marciano, and 9th Wonder on the deluxe edition, which expands the original release’s tracklist from 14 to 19. Jae Skeese and 7xvethegenius of the Drumwork Label also appear on “Stefon Diggs” and “Crack in the Nineties,” perfectly complementing the excellent production. DeJ Loaf, Method Man, Freddie Gibbs, and Benny the Butcher all had appearances on the original edition of the album, which made our list of the greatest albums of the year.
“Don’t pay attention to what the nerds at the blogs and podcasts say, THIS IS THE ILLEST SH*T OF 2020,” according to the rapper’s Instagram feed. Conway previously told us that he intended to highlight his progress as an artist on From King to a God when we spoke with him. “I made some strides lyrically, artistically, and creatively, so I just wanted to showcase that and show them that I ain’t no one-trick pony,” the rapper told HNHH. “I’m really nice with this sh*t. That’s the main message I wanted to drive home.
Conway has released three albums this year, including the joint ventures Lulu and No One Mourns the Wicked with the Alchemist and Big Ghost LTD, respectively. Benny the Butcher, his cousin and another Griselda member, has been busy in 2020, releasing a tape with the Black Soprano Family and DJ Drama, as well as his second studio album Burden of Proof. Meanwhile, Griselda’s Westside Gunn released two albums and one mixtape this year.
