T.I. drops new album ‘Dime Trap’ feat, Yo Gotti, Young Thug & others.
After appearing on The Breakfast Club earlier today, T.I. has released his 10th studio album ‘Dime Trap‘. The project contains 15 tracks with guest appearances from Yo Gotti, Young Thug, YFN Lucci, Jeezy, Anderson .Paak and more.
High-profile record producers like Swizz Beatz, Scott Storch, Bangladesh, Cardiak, and David Banner were involved in the production. Three singles were released to promote the album: “Jefe,” “Wraith,” and “The Weekend.”
T.I. debuted the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday during a medley that included his recent Meek Mill collaboration “Jefe.” Both songs, as well as the Yo Gotti-assisted “Wraith,” can be found on Dime Trap. The rapper has been working on the album since at least 2015, and he told Rolling Stone at the time that Dr. Dre oversaw “a few” of the sessions.
The emcee also co-curated the first-ever Pop-Up Trap Music Museum, which opens on September 30th in Atlanta, Georgia. T.I., Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, and Future are among the musicians honoured at the museum, which highlights the city’s famed trap culture.
