Rick Ross drops the “Port of Miami 2” album feat Drake, Wale, Lucci & others.
After a long wait, Rick Ross’ new studio album ‘Port of Miami 2‘ is finally here. The project contains 15 tracks with guest appearances from Drake (on Gold Roses), Wale, Meek Mill, Nipsey Hussle, DeJ Loaf, Jeezy, Teyana Taylor, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, YFN Lucci, and more.
The album is the rapper’s first since his 2006 debut in “Port of Miami”, so it’s been a long time coming.“Act of Fool,” “Big Tyme,” “Gold Roses,” and “Turnpike Ike” are among the previously released tracks on the album. Rozay returns to his beginnings 13 years later, and while he is rightfully proud of his great career, the rapper’s skill remains in excellent shape. The seamless integration of his razor-sharp rhymes and smooth flow with Beat Billionaire and Just Blaze’s production exemplifies why he’s been able to stay in the game for so long — an accomplishment, not every rapper can do and something he’s come to be incredibly proud of. Rick won the title of The Boss early in his career, and “Port of Miami 2” lavishly proves why he’ll be the only one ever.
With 80,000 album-equivalent copies, 25,000 of which were actual album sales, Port of Miami 2 opened behind Slipknot’s sixth album We Are Not Your Kind at number two on the US Billboard 200. Ross’s tenth US top 10 album is this one.
