Rich The Kid and NBA Youngboy drop the “Nobody Safe” project with the guest appearance of Lil Wayne Rod Wave & Quando Rondo.
After giving us ‘Until I Return‘ earlier this month, NBA Youngboy joins forces with Rich The Kid for a joint project called “Nobody Safe“. The project contains 15 tracks with guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Rod Wave, and Quando Rondo.
Rich the Kid and YoungBoy don’t hold back on this album, as the title suggests, ensuring that the game understands that no one is safe. Nobody Safe features Wheezy, Murda Beatz, Louie Bandz, and others on production, giving you the best of both worlds from both artists’ respective fields of competence. Rich the Kid and YoungBoy show off their high-octane rap skills here, with the lead tracks “Bankroll” and “Automatic” providing listeners with a good idea of what to expect from the album.
YoungBoy also released his latest mixtape, Until I Return, earlier this week. He’s had a tremendously fruitful year thus far, with his most recent album, Top, arriving at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in September.
The tracks Automatic’ and ‘Bankroll’ are considerably better than the initial attempts; the latter exudes a brotherly connection from the Southern rappers. ‘Automatic,’ on the other hand, feels like a YoungBoy song with such a Rich The Kid appearance. Youngboy’s unmistakable vocal takes center stage over one of the catchy, wild trap rhythms that he frequently features on, where the hi-hats are precisely placed and the 808s explode, with Rich The Kid adding a nonsensical verse.
Rich the Kid and YoungBoy Never Broke Again, two of music’s most talked-about performers, have been teasing their joint album for more than a year after initially appearing together on the track “For Keeps” in 2019. Rich’s cameo in YoungBoy’s “Slime Mentality” video, as well as leaked footage of their recording sessions in Utah, shed light on their connection and generated calls for more music from the multi-platinum musicians. They reunited in March to record “Money Talk” and “Racks On,” two standouts on Rich’s star-studded third studio album, Boss Man.
Rich the Kid has also been active, appearing on Trippie Redd’s new album Pegasus and collaborating with Ty Dolla Sign, 2 Chainz, TM88, and Southside on the song “Breakin’ U Off.” He also made headlines recently after reportedly declining an offer from former President Donald Trump, who was attempting to recruit any and all musicians to support his failed presidential campaign.
