Moneybagg Yo & Blac Youngsta drops the “Code Red” project.
After announcing it earlier this week, Moneybagg Yo and Blac Youngsta join forces for a brand new joint project called “Code Red“. The project contains 13 tracks with guest appearances from Yo Gotti, 42 Dugg, and more.
The CMG camp has had a really fruitful year, as each individual musician has been putting in a lot of effort. With Yo Gotti’s two songs, “Recession Proof” and “Stay Ur Distance,” as well as Moneybagg Yo’s contagious “Said Sum,” in heavy rotation amid this COVID-19 epidemic, the label has a pretty good chokehold on the game right now.
Moneybagg Yo and Blac Youngsta came to social media this past Thursday to announce their release — or rather, to advertise it as two distinct projects being released. While this was clearly not the case, people all around the country were taken aback when they discovered it was all part of one collaborative effort.
“Said Sum Remix,” one of the project’s standout tracks, includes none other than the City Girls and DaBaby (which is a fan favourite without a doubt).
