Migos drops Deluxe Edition of “Culture III” within a week.
Migos have returned to officially release the album’s deluxe version, less than a week after releasing Culture 3.
The race for the #1 on Billboard 200 is tight between the latest Migos album “Culture III” and Polo G’s album “Hall of Fame“, so now the Atlanta trio decided to push it more with a deluxe edition. The new version contains 5 more new songs, all solo, now making it a 24 track album.
Where the original 19-track album ends with YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s “Need It,” the deluxe edition adds five extra songs: “How We Coming,” “How Did I,” “New Money,” “Menace,” and “Working A Fool.” On Thursday, the five-pack was released on streaming sites, marking the end of Culture III’s first week of sales.
As previously reported by Culture III is anticipated to sell between 125,000 and 135,000 units in its debut week, with traditional album sales accounting for 5,000 to 8,000 units. If projections are right, Culture III will debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, after Polo G’s Hall of Fame, which is expected to debut at No. 1 with 165,000 to 175,000 units, including 4,000 to 7,000 in album sales. Following the first tracklist’s publication, Migos released accompanying music videos for “Why Not” and “Modern Day” in parallel with the deluxe album’s momentum.
The original version featured guest appearances from Drake, Cardi B, Polo G, Future, Justin Bieber, NBA Youngboy, and posthumous contributions from Juice WRLD and Pop Smoke.
Migos have planned a Las Vegas takeover with curator Pollen Presents in October to commemorate the debut of Culture 3. A performance, pool parties, hotel takeovers, club takeovers, and more are all planned for the three-day extravaganza.
