Machine Gun Kelly drops his new album ‘Tickets To My Downfall’ feat Halsey, Trippie Redd & others.
After giving us a lot of songs including videos for ‘Concert for Aliens‘ and ‘Bloody Valentine‘ in the past few weeks, Machine Gun Kelly has released his brand new album ‘Tickets To My Downfall‘.
The project contains 15 tracks with guest appearances from Halsey, Trippie Redd, and more. In a new interview on ‘The Howard Stern Show’, Kelly addresses his feud with Eminem.
The new album from MGK has collaborations with Trippie Redd, Halsey, and Iann Dior, in addition to the already-familiar songs “Bloody Valentine” (with a video starring Megan Fox) and the blackbear collab “My Ex’s Best Friend.” MGK leans further towards the pop-punk stylings previously teased on tracks like the Yungblud duet “I Think I’m Okay” from his previous album Hotel Diablo, and Barker was intimately involved with sessions for the album.
Tickets to My Downfall opened at number one on the US Billboard 200 all-format albums chart, selling 126,000 album equivalent units in its first week. This was his highest-charting start to date, more than double the opening numbers for his last album, Hotel Diablo in 2019, and it was the first rock album to top the chart in little over a year, since Tool’s Fear Inoculum in September 2019.
Kelly plans to Livestream a pair of gigs next month to celebrate the debut of his new song. The shows will be televised live from the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California on October 1 and 8. Kelly will sing “Tickets to My Downfall” in its entirety at the Oct. 1 show, while “Hotel Diablo” will be performed at the Oct. 8 concert.
