Lupe Fiasco drops the new album “DROGAS Light”.
Lupe Fiasco has dropped his first album titled “DROGAS Light” after leaving Atlantic Records. The album contains 14 records with features from Rick Ross, Big K.R.I.T., Ty Dolla Sign and more.
Lupe spoke out to an audience in Denver about his career and the music industry in general after being greeted with a wave of hostility last year for a “N.E.R.D.” verse in which he used the words “filthy Jewish execs.”[I] always hated music executives,” Lupe told the crowd at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium in December. “Always. They were always big pieces of sh*t to me. I hated them.”
Following his exit from Atlantic Records, this is also his debut album under Thirty Tigers.
The album sold 20,000 copies (including 14,000 copies of pure album sales) in its first week and debuted at number 28 on the US Billboard 200 for the chart of March 4, 2017.
