Logic drops new mixtape ‘Bobby Tarantino II’ feat, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean & others.
After announcing it yesterday, Logic decided to release his new mixtape called ‘Bobby Tarantino II‘. The project contains 13 tracks with guest appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and Young Sinatra. Marshmello assisted ‘Everyday‘ serves as the official single.
The mixtape “Bobby Tarantino II” is the follow-up to his 2016 mixtape “Bobby Tarantino.”. Logic connects the two with identical album artwork and a follow-up to the famous song “44 Bars” from the previous episode with “44 More,” the new mixtape’s concluding tune.
Justin Roiland voices Rick and Morty from the cartoon sitcom “Rick and Morty” in the first song, “Grandpa’s Space Ship.” A dispute between the two protagonists for the spaceship’s auxiliary cord is included in the tune. The sketch is smart and includes some hilarious barbs against Logic. This one will be fun for fans of the show and Logic.
Bobby Tarantino II opened at number one on the US Billboard 200 with 119,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, 32,000 of which were pure album sales. It is Logic’s second number-one album, following Everybody Knows (2017). The album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 in its second week, selling 47,000 copies. The album debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 in its third week, selling 33,000 copies.
