Stream Lil Uzi’s ‘Eternal Atake’ deluxe version featuring Young Thug, Gunna & others.
After giving us his long-awaited ‘Eternal Atake‘ album last week, Lil Uzi Vert continues releasing new material as he drops the Deluxe Version of the project with 14 new tracks. The new version features assistance from Chief Keef, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Gunna, NAV, and more.
Uzi added a massive 14 tracks to the (already lengthy) tracklist, dubbed the “deluxe” version of Eternal Atake. Despite its inclusion on Atake, Uzi insisted on Twitter that the additions make the album more of a double album: the new second half is billed as a follow-up to Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World, one of the early mixtapes that established him as one of the most exciting artists to emerge on the scene in recent memory. Now that it’s out, the official title is Eternal Atake (Deluxe) – Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World 2.
Some fans were startled by the arrival of Eternal Atake, given it had been over three years after Luv Is Rage 2. The singles “Futsal Shuffle 2000” and “That Way” preceded the album. The two songs were actually bonus tracks on EA, and the album as a whole suggested a plot about the Philadelphia rapper being kidnapped by aliens from outer space. This concept was evident in the rapper’s short clip promoting his new album, which was released on Tuesday.
The album has already topped the Billboard 200 chart with moving over 300k copies in the first week and let’s see how the new version impacts the sales in the next week.
This is Lil Uzi Vert’s second number-one album in the United States. With 247,000 album-equivalent sales, the album remained at the top of the Billboard 200 for the second week. It was kept alive in part by the introduction of a deluxe edition the following week. Eternal Atake was the eighth best-selling album of 2020 in the United States, selling 1.860 million album-equivalent copies.
