Lil Tjay drops his new album “Destined 2 Win”.
After giving us ‘Born 2 Be Great‘ yesterday, Lil Tjay continues releasing new material as he finally drops his new album called “Destined 2 Win“. The project contains 21 tracks with guest appearances from Saweetie, Moneybagg Yo, Tyga, Offset, Fivio Foreign, Polo G, and more.
Lil Tjay has accomplished a lot in rap in the last two years, despite the fact that he is still not legally allowed to drink. With True 2 Myself, the 19-year-old rapper crooned his way to a now-platinum debut album, and now with “Destined 2 Win”, Tjay is looking to repeat the feat. Tjay’s growth is reflected in the 21-track project, which highlights his ability to make a hit (as evidenced by the 6lack-assisted “Calling My Phone”) and his ability to collaborate with others (as evidenced by his collaboration with Fivio Foreign and Polo G on “Headshot”).
In February, Lil Tjay dropped the visual for 6LACK assisted ‘Calling My Phone‘. Destined 2 Win, Lil Tjay’s latest album, debuts at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, the best showing of his career. According to MRC Data, the set, which was released on Columbia Records, started with 62,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending April 8.
Destined 2 Win debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States, selling 62,000 album-equivalent units (including 3,000 copies in pure album sales) in its first week. This was Lil Tjay’s second top 10 debut in the United States, following True 2 Myself, which peaked at number five.
