Kodak Black drops his new album “Bill Israel” feat Gucci Mane, Lil Yachty & others.
After unveiling the official tracklist a few days ago, Kodak Black has released his brand new album ‘Bill Israel‘. The project contains 11 tracks with guest appearances from Lil Yachty, Gucci Mane, Tory Lanez, and more. It is Kodak Black’s first album since 2018’s ‘Dying to Live‘.
“Bill Israel” collaborates with WizDaWizard and Mike Smiff on the free singles “Because of You” and “Vultures Cry 2.” Dying To Live, his most recent official album, was released in 2018 and featured 16 tracks as well as contributions from Lil Pump, Travis Scott, Offset, and the late Juice WRLD. Dying To Live landed Kodak at the top of the Billboard 200 with 89,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week, earning him a Gold plaque.
The appearance with Tory Lanez is the most contentious collaboration on the album, though it isn’t surprising. Tory shared a teaser of his collaboration with Kodak on Instagram following the publication of DAYSTAR, an ep about the Megan Thee Stallion shooting. Tory and Jackboy join Kodak on “Spain.”
Kodak Black is currently serving a 46-month sentence for his high-profile federal firearms charge prosecution. Despite unsuccessful appeals and reports of problems with prison guards and the current Coronavirus outbreak, he is not anticipated to be released until 2022, when he will be eligible for parole.
