Kid Ink drops his new album “Alive”.
After giving us the ‘Red Light‘ music video last month, Kid Ink continues releasing new material as he drops his brand new album called “Alive“. The project contains 13 tracks with guest appearances from Rory Fresco, Bricc Baby, and ISM.
“Red Light,” one of the album’s standout tracks, is one of his best. Kid Ink warms up with a melodic flow and a rapper’s charisma as the beat builds, making sure to bring some substance to his bars while reflecting on his journey. “I been getting mine, read the story untold,” he spits. “Can’t be mad what you can’t control / ni**as gon’ switch sh*t up with this quickness, this here risky business / don’t get twisted, that bi**h vicious.”
Ink introduces a few new flows as the song progresses, catching a particularly bouncy pocket as the second verse begins. With the rapper’s upcoming Alive album on the horizon, it’s safe to say that “Red Light” is just the beginning.
One thing about Kid Ink is that he is not only a hard worker but also a dedicated man in the grand scheme of things. His work ethic is one of the most basic, yet one of the most valuable qualities about him. Another thing about him is that no matter what is going on around him, he will always win. Kid Ink has always been and will continue to be one of the mixtape kings.
Along with the project, Kid Ink also dropped the music video for his track called “Night & Day“. Check out the album and new visual below.
