Kanye West drops ‘JESUS IS KING’ Album feat Ty Dolla Sign, Kenny G & others.
After a little delay, Kanye West has announced his brand new album ‘JESUS IS KING‘. The project contains 11 tracks with guest appearances from Ty Dolla Sign, Kenny G, Fred Hammond, and more.
Despite the fact that Jesus Is King was delayed from its planned release date of September 27, Kanye continued to promote the album by attending Sunday Service events, listening parties, and previewing a new documentary that will be released in IMAX cinemas on October 24.
But West’s record may be the most well-known of the bunch, and on “Jesus Is King,” West talks about his conversion to Christianity and the backlash to his public dedication. He also makes reference to several of his divisive political pronouncements, such as his jumbled interpretation of the 13th Amendment and his widely panned claim that 400 years of slavery “seems like a choice.”

Update: Kanye West’s Jesus Is King is a success by all comprehensive measures. According to Billboard, the rapper’s latest album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 264,000 equivalent album units, with 109,000 of those being traditional album sales. West ties Eminem for the most No. 1 debuts in a row (nine) and had his best streaming week ever, with 196.9 million streams. West’s previous solo album, Ye, debuted with 208,000 equivalent album units, but Jesus Is King outsold it.
