Joyner Lucas drops his new album ‘ADHD’ feat Chris Brown, Young Thug & others.
After a long wait, Joyner Lucas finally released his new album ‘ADHD‘ which was first announced back in 2018. The project contains 18 tracks with guest appearances from Logic, Young Thug, Chris Brown, Timbaland, Fabolous, and more.
The album doesn’t feature Eminem, who was supposed to appear on the project. Lucas has already published five mixtapes, the most recent of which was a 16-track mixtape called 508-507-2209, which was released three years ago on Atlantic Records and debuted at number 7 on the US Heatseekers Albums chart in June 2017. “When I was a kid I was diagnosed with ‘ADHD’.. they said I was aggressive, fidgety, hyperactive, impulsive, etc… they tried to put me on meds. Everyone around me including my own parents made me feel like I wasn’t normal. I had to constantly see a doctor who made me take tests and all that. They separated me from the regular kids in school and put me in these classes away from everyone,” Lucas started with a long Instagram post.
Freed from his contract with a major label for the first time in years, Lucas had the most successful and productive year of his illustrious career to date. The year began with Eminem receiving his first Grammy Award nominations, which included a “Best Music Video” nomination for his landmark single/visual, ‘I’m Not Racist,‘ which has now received over 136 million views, as well as a “Best Rap Song” nomination for his worldwide smash collaboration with Eminem, ‘Lucky You‘.
