Joey Badass shares new project “Lonely At The Top”.
After teasing us with recent songs, Joey Badass has finally released his brand new album “Lonely At The Top”. This is his fourth studio album, a follow-up to his 2022 album “2000”.
The album contains a pack of 11 songs, with guest appearances from Westside Gunn, ASAP Ferg, Ty Dolla Sign, Ab-Soul, Rapsody, Kai Cash, CJ Fly, and more. Just recently, he dropped the music video for his song “Still” with assistance from Ab-Soul and Rapsody.
The rapper released the album following his recent battle against the West Coast artists in May, during which he dropped several diss tracks and also called out Kendrick Lamar.
Earlier today, the rapper also unveiled the official artwork for the album, which is created by jahlilnzinga. “There is a figure – surrounded by nothingness, or by everything. Whether it is nothing, or everything, it is pure. It is truth. Absent of all impurity,” he wrote. “The journey to the top however, is both within and covering the figure depicted as colors running downward. ‘Golden’ to prove the victory of ambitions actualized. It’s a draping of gold. There is ‘Red’ signifying the immense effort and toll it took to get there. Blood perhaps.”

In June, Badass also welcomed his first child with partner Serayah. “I think we’re excited about doing things our way with something that’s equally important to both of us individually and collectively, and that’s having a strong family structure, especially a strong Black family structure,” he said on the birth of his son. “Breaking those generational curses and setting an example for the future.”
