JAY-Z drops new album “4:44” feat Gloria Carter, Frank Ocean & others.
After announcing his album a couple of weeks ago, JAY-Z decided to releases his 13th Studio album “4:44“. The album, Jay-first Z’s since 2013’s “Magna Carta… Holy Grail,” has eleven deeply personal and provocative tracks, including a few references to his wife Beyoncé’s marriage-baring “Lemonade” album and their twins’ recent birth.
The project contains 10 records with features from Gloria Carter, Frank Ocean, and Damian Marley. He also releases the visual for track number two ‘The Story Of O.J.‘.
For the last several weeks, Tidal has been teasing 4:44 with billboards and YouTube ads featuring actors Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong’o, and Danny Glover, implying that the album may have a strong visual component. Sprint customers may try Tidal HiFi for free for six months and listen to the album for free. Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure said in a statement, “Jay Z is a worldwide superstar, and we’re offering consumers an extraordinary chance to be among the first to experience his new album 4:44.”
