Jay Rock drops the new album ‘Redemption’ feat Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole & others.
Jay Rock has finally dropped his new album ‘Redemption‘ via Interscope Records. The project is packed with 13 songs. The album features guest appearances from J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Jeremih, and SZA. Production on the album comes from Mike WiLL Made-It, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da, Jake One, and more.
The cover of the album features Rock on a sidewalk surrounded by a few people, while he looks at the street lamp over his neck with a cluster of champion ribbons, exactly like he did in his newest Kendrick Lamar featured solo “Win.”In 2015, Jay Rock released his latest 90059 albums. Earlier this year, the entertaining visual treatment was offered to “King’s Dead”— a collaboration between Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Future, and James Blake. He released “Win” from the forthcoming Redemption, and then “The Bloodiest”.
In 2016, Rock was involved in a terrible motorbike accident. Redemption was born from the post-healing process, and it was initially scheduled for a 2017 release. In an interview earlier this year, Rock remarked, “I was just healing up, and when I healed up, I simply locked in the studio.” TDE’s The Championship Tour comes to a close in Pittsburgh on Saturday, June 16.
