Iggy Azalea drops his new album ‘In My Defense’ after a long 5 years of rest.
Iggy Azalea continues releasing new material as she finally released her new album ‘In My Defense‘ via the distribution label EMPIRE. The project which is led by previously released singles ‘Sally Walker‘, ‘Started‘ & ‘Just Wanna‘, contains 12 songs with guest appearances from Kash Doll, Juicy J, Lil Yachty, and more.
The New Classic, which she released in 2014 and spawned timeless earworms like “Fancy,” “Black Widow,” and “Work,” is the 29-year-latest old’s album. After signing a multi-million dollar distribution contract with Empire last year, Iggy’s second album is also her first record release.
Five years ago, Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” ruled the charts for seven weeks, followed by Ariana Grande’s “Problem,” on which she appeared. The songs were largely regarded as the beginning of a superstar career.
“We were fans of the same things and that made for a good connection, and he did every song,” she said at the time. “The whole thing is such collaboration and it’s made it, so, I don’t know, it’s just so sticky and gluey and all good in one thing, and that’s what I love about it. So excited about it. It was the best time making it.” Iggy said.
