Ice Spice shares new project “Like..?”
The viral sensation Ice Spice decided to put out more new music as she releases her debut EP “Like..?” through 10k Projects and Capital Records. The project contains 6 tracks, including previously released “In Ha Mood”, “Bikini Bottom” and “Munch (Feelin U)”.
The three new tracks are titled “Princess Diana”, “Actin A Smoochie” and “Gangsta Boo” with Lil Tjay. “Nowadays I be duckin’ them cameras / And they hot that I’m up on ‘em banners / Callin’ my phone but they know I don’t answer / In the hood, I’m like Princess Diana,” she raps on Princess Diana.
Ice Spice was scheduled to shoot the music video for her collaboration with Lil Tjay earlier this week. However, he was apprehended along with four other individuals for possession of a firearm. He was charged with a felony gun offense and released after paying a $90,000 bail. Some fans believed that the song was a tribute to the late Gangsta Boo who passed away in the beginning of January. But in a recent interview, Ice Spice clarified that she recorded the song just prior to the Three 6 Mafia rapper’s passing. “I made the song before [Gangsta Boo] passed,” Ice Spice said. “Right before, actually. So, yeah. That was real sad, very exact coincidence.”
