Ice Cube drops new album ‘Everythangs Corrupt’ feat Too Short.
Ice Cube has finally released his new project ‘Everythangs Corrupt‘ which was announced about a year ago. It is the first Ice Cube album since 2010’s ‘I Am The West‘. The new album contains 16 tracks and Too Short is the only guest appearance on it.
The album was supposed to be released some years ago, but Cube decided to put it on hold so he could focus on his other projects. Because the famous MC hadn’t released a full album since 2010’s I Am the West, some fans worried if Everythang’s Corrupt would ever see the light of day. However, Cube reassured his followers that the project hadn’t been abandoned and that it will come before 2019.
Despite the fact that this is his first solo song in a long time, more new collaboration music is on the way. According to Revolt TV, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, and E-40 just formed Mt. Westmore, and they are set to release a new album this year. Prior to the release of “Trying to Maintain,” Ice Cube tweeted, “Clarity: New solo song… still working on that Mt. Westmore album.”
Speaking to Zane Lowe, for an interview on his Beats 1 Radio show, Cube said: It’s been eight years. I had to put this project down a few times, because I had to focus on doing the Straight Outta Compton movie. I’ve been working on a lot of 3-on-3 basketball the last couple years, too…I didn’t want to cheat the record, so I would put the record down, and pick it back up when I had the time to focus solely on music. It ended up taking longer than expected, but I’m glad it did, because the timing is perfect. Because if you look around, everything is corrupt. If you look at the situation on every level, there is corruption.
Ice Cube told Atlanta radio host Ryan Cameron on Wednesday that the Biden administration had reached out to him earlier in the week to set up a meeting to discuss Contract With Black America. When the rapper met with Trump’s campaign staff last year to pitch his initiative, he attracted a backlash.
