Future drops his new album ‘High Off Life’.
After his two projects ‘SAVE ME‘ and ‘The WIZRD‘ in the first half of last year, Future returns with his eighth studio album ‘High Off Life‘. The project contains 21 tracks with guest appearances from Travis Scott, NBA Youngboy, Young Thug, Drake, DaBaby, Meek Mill, Lil Durk, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, and more.
Future recently spoke with XXL about his new album, High Off Life, which examines what he sees in his life right now. “This album right here defines me at a creative level. Going to the next level where you just going to the next level and always going outside the box, but still remaining true to my core fans and my core audience. It’s me trying new things,” he said. “I want to remain true to self, but also true to my fans and just giving them a good project, a great project to be able to listen to, but also for different artists to be able to feed off of, create off of, come up with different ideas and just being at the forefront of just making a solid album, a solid, complete album.”
Due to a technicality, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified High Off Life gold 30 minutes after its release, including the track-equivalent units moved by previously released singles “Life Is Good” and “Tycoon.”
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 list in the United States, selling 153,000 album-equivalent units in its first week (including 16,000 pure album sales). Future’s album debuted at number one for the sixth time in a row. In the week ending May 21, the album received a total of 186.3 million on-demand streaming of the set’s 21 tracks.
He already released the videos for ‘Life is Good‘, ‘Tycoon‘, and ‘100 Shooters‘. Stream the entire thing below.
