Future & Lil Uzi Vert drops the new project ‘Pluto x Baby Pluto’.
Future and Lil Uzi Vert finally give their fans what they’ve been waiting for after months of teasing a joint mixtape. Future and Lil Uzi Vert’s highly anticipated joint collaboration project “Pluto x Baby Pluto“ which has been in the works all year, is finally here. The project contains 16 tracks with no guest appearances. The album features Future & Lil Uzi Vert’s collaborations as well as solo tracks.
With the double release of singles “Over Your Head” and “Patek” in July, the two have maintained their collaborative connection throughout the year. In 2020, both musicians will release their individual albums. In March, Lil Uzi Vert released his latest full-length album, ‘Eternal Atake.’ It received a five-star review from NME, which described it as “a song that will stay near to the hearts of a generation of rap lovers” and dubbed the artist “our generation’s Lil Wayne.”
Uzi released Eternal Atake in March, which was also a Billboard No. 1 debut. Lil Uzi followed up a week later with a deluxe edition of his chart-topping album, which included 14 new tracks. It goes without saying that having Uzi and Future on the same tape will be explosive.
Future, meantime, released his eighth studio album, “High Off Life,” in May, which included the smash song “Life Is Good.” In August, the rapper collaborated with Swae Lee and Internet Money on the song “Thrusting,” which appears on the latter group’s latest album “B4 the Storm.”
Within its first week, Pluto x Baby Pluto sold 105,000 album-equivalent units, including 5,500 pure album sales, to debut at number 2 on the US Billboard 200. This was Lil Uzi’s third top-ten album in the US and Future’s fifteenth overall. Every one of the album’s tracks received a combined 136.11 million on-demand US streaming in the week ending November.
