Currensy drops a new “Still Stoned On Ocean” project.
Following the release of “Matching Rolexes” with Kino Beats last month, Currensy continues putting out new monthly projects as he teams up with Cool & Dre for a new album “Still Stoned On Ocean“. The project is a sequel to their 2016’s effort “Stoned On Ocean”. The new EP contains 11 records with a lone guest appearance from Fendi P.
The project is one of the 7 collaborative albums Currensy recently announced. The next projects on the list are “Pilot Talk 4” with Ski Beatz, “Land Air Sea Andretti” with Cash Fargo, “Half Moon Bay” with The Alchemist, “Regatta Legends” with Harry Fraud, and more.
Last months’ “Matching Rolexes” features guest appearances from DeJ Loaf, Valee and BLU.
Still Stoned On Ocean is the follow-up to Andretti’s 2016 mixtape Stoned On Ocean (which is one of his underappreciated classics), and it introduces us to a new type of Spitta who sounds like he’s going for it all and won’t stop until he gets it. He’s the only artist in the game who can do what he does at such a high level, smoothly gliding over the beat and presenting his typical bars centering around his passion for automobiles, drugs, and supplying the limitless free game for the hustlers. As long as the Jet Life general continues to produce these audio gems at this rate, the industry will be in fine hands.
