Common drops his new album “Let Love”.
After giving us Swizz Beatz assisted ‘Hercules‘ and the follow-up ‘Show Me That You Love‘, Common has finally released his brand new album ‘Let Love‘. The project contains 11 tracks with guest appearances from Daniel Caesar, BJ the Chicago Kid, and more.
Common speaks up about problems that are rarely acknowledged in the black community, like mental health, on the song “Memories From Home” starring BJ the Chicago Kid, and confesses that he was raped as a youngster, which he also covers in his book.
The album comes to a close with “God Is Love,” a gospel-inspired ballad starring Leon Bridges that had several in the audience in tears.
