Ariana Grande drops a new album ‘Positions’ feat The Weeknd, Doja Cast & Ty Dolla Sign.
After announcing it last week, Ariana Grande has released her brand new album called “Positions“. The project contains 14 tracks with guest appearances from The Weeknd, Doja Cat, and Ty Dolla Sign.
Since releasing the album, Grande has debuted a slew of new projects, including her Netflix concert documentary Ariana Grande: Excuse Me, I Love You in December and her appearance in Mariah Carey’s Christmas special the same month. Oh, and she’s getting married.
Ari is no stranger to collaborating with her peers, though she hasn’t had any guest appearances on an album since 2018’s Sweetener, which featured Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, and Pharrell Williams.
On Oct. 24, the big-voiced pop artist announced the Positions tracklist, which includes collaborations with Doja Cat (“Motive”) and Ty Dolla $ign (“Safety Net”), as well as a second duet with The Weeknd (“Off the Table”), following their breakthrough single “Love Me Harder” from the My Everything era. The album’s title track is also titled positions. Ariana is shown as the President of the United States in the song. On the White House lawn, she is conducting news conferences and strolling her dogs.
