A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie drops new project ‘International Artist’.
As announced last month, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie decided to release a new project before the end of this summer. He releases the project called ‘International Artist‘. The 8 song project features guest appearances from Tory Lanez, NAV, Kap G, Davido and more.
Most musicians would find tackling as many as eight distinct musical genres unfeasible, but A Boogie might just be able to do it. A Boogie, whose The Bigger Artist album was certified gold, has a versatile voice that fits well on a range of instrumentals, and when International Artist drops on June 20, we’ll get to watch him put all of his abilities to use in a manner he probably hasn’t before. It should be a blast.
Afrobeat flag bearer Davido from Nigeria, drum and bass DJ Alkaline from Jamaica, bachata evangelical J Alvarez from Puerto Rico, Afro-swing hybrid Kojo Funds from London, and Torontonians Tory Lanez, Nav, and Jessie Reyez are just a few of the artists that International Artist enrolls for an effort at cross-cultural interaction.
