2 Chainz drops his new album “So Help Me God” feat Kanye West, Kevin Gates, Lil Uzi Vert & others.
After announcing it a couple of months ago, 2 Chainz has released his brand new album called “So Help Me God“. The project contains 15 tracks with guest appearances from NBA Youngboy, Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla Sign, Kanye West, Kevin Gates, Lil Uzi Vert, Rick Ross, Chief Keef, and more.
So Help Me God, rapper 2 Chainz’s sixth studio album, has finally arrived. The tracks “Quarantine Thick” featuring Mulatto and “Money Maker” starring Lil Wayne are featured on the album, which was released today via Def Jam.
“So Help Me God” is the highly anticipated follow-up to “Rap Or Go To The League“, which was released in 2019. Its release coincides with the release of a music video for Ty Dolla $ign and comedian Lil Duval’s cover of Hall & Oates’ “Can’t Go For That.” In honor of the album’s release, 2 Chainz will perform the song tonight on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Regardless of the pandemic, 2 Chainz had a busy year in 2020, collaborating with Future on “Dead Man Walking,” going head-to-head with Rick Ross on their Verzuz battle over the summer, and collaborating with a slew of artists, including Run the Jewels on “Out of Sight” and Kanye West on “Nah Nah Nah,” which also featured DaBaby.
The album So Help Me God is 2 Chainz’s last under his current Def Jam contract, which he is now trying to renegotiate. Being honest is a witness in “So Help Me God.” “So Help Me God is a testimony about being truthful,”. “I like to call it a light during a dark time, meaning that it’s still a time capsule of what’s going on in 2020…but it’s not the dark side of 2020. I wanted to have something cool, something fun that could still be looked at that we know this came out in 2020. It’s very relevant.”
He already released the visual for ‘Money Maker‘ & ‘Quarantine Thick‘.
