Following an announcement last month, 2 Chainz has released his brand new album called “Dope Don’t Sell Itself”, a follow up to his 2020’s effort “So Help Me God!“. “Hey you how you been!? It’s been a minute I know, but im back with something new and exotic,” he announced on his social media. “You know I ain’t been around this long with out being a thinker and a constant student & teacher of the game my album ‘DOPE DONT SELL ITSELF’ drops this month and single drops this week. He followed the announcement with his single “Million Dollars Worth of Game” with 42 Dugg, and then another new track “Pop Music” with Moneybagg Yo and BeatKing.
The 44-year-old has officially released the album now, which comes with a pack of 12 tracks. The additional guest appearances come from Lil Baby on “Kingpen Ghostwriter”, Roddy Ricch on “Outstanding”, Swae Lee on “Carymans”, NBA Youngboy on “10 Bracelets”, Lil Durk, Sleepy Rose on “Lost Kings”, Jacquees on “If You Want Me To” and more.
The rapper recently made a visit to Power 106 for a LA Leakers Freestyle over the classic beat of The Pharcyde’s 1992 track “Passin’ Me By”.
2 Chainz held an exclusive listening session, merch drop, and immersive album launch in a pop-up “Stash Box” in Atlanta on Sunday night, ahead of the release of his highly anticipated seventh studio album, DOPE DON’T SELL ITSELF, on Friday via Def Jam Recordings. The Amazon Music-powered Stash Box, which is a larger-than-life reproduction of the album cover for DOPE DON’T SELL ITSELF, will be appearing in additional locations in the coming weeks.
