Snoop Dogg drops “From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites” album.
After giving us ProHoeZak- assisted “Say It Witcha Booty” a few days ago, Snoop Dogg continues releasing new material as he celebrates 4/20 with the release of his new album “From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites“. The album contains 10 tracks with additional guest appearances from Mozzy, Kokane, Larry June, J Black, and more.
Snoop used “From tha Streets 2 tha Suites” as a 4/20 present for his fans, which is only fitting. The 10-song project features some long-time collaborators like KoKane and Devin the Dude, as well as Tha Eastsidaz, Big Tray Deee, and Goldie Loc, and takes fans back to the Doggfather’s G-Funk roots. Newer California acts like Larry June and Mozzy make appearances on From tha Streets 2 tha Suites. “Left My Weed” and “Roaches in My Ashtray” are two tracks that are perfect for 4/20.
The first single and music video from Snoop’s new album, “Look Around,” was released alongside the album’s release. Snoop, who has a few iconic album covers of his own, brings legendary album art from other rappers to life for the video. Snoop celebrates Ice-T’s “Power“, Redman’s “Whut? Thee Album“, Slick Rick’s “The Great Adventures of Slick Rick“, and more, in addition to Ice Cube’s “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted“.
“From the Streets to the Suites” sets the tone for Snoop Dogg’s upcoming Mt.Westmore collaboration album, which will feature fellow West Coast legends Ice Cube, E-40, and Too Short. The supergroup made their live debut in Atlanta at the Triller Fight Club event:
The project also has previously released tracks, “CEO” and “Roaches In My Ashtray“. Stream the entire thing below.
